FAQs/Troubleshooting
Textures are missing
If you experience issues with textures not rendering, you may need to pack them. To do so go select; File -> External Data -> Pack Resources.
Am I able to submit multiple jobs?
Absolutely! You have the flexibility to submit multiple jobs to the same Blender rendering instance. By default, these jobs will queue in the order they are submitted. However, you can exert control over the rendering order by adjusting the Priority setting within Flamenco. For instance, if you want your most recent job to be given higher priority, simply increase its Priority value. The ongoing job will temporarily pause rendering until the latest job is completed.
Are there any features that aren't supported?
All features up to Blender version 4.0 are fully supported.
Can I render across multiple nodes?
Absolutely! However, currently, it involves manually starting a Blender rendering instance on each additional node. After each new submission, make sure to update the add-on reference, as explained in the 'Submitting a render' section, if you wish to run different renders in parallel on various nodes. Alternatively, you can split a single render across multiple nodes by submitting different frame ranges.
We are currently working on a streamlined process that will simplify rendering across multiple nodes.
