For convenience, we have implemented the facility for user to contribute idle compute power to OctaSpace using Windows.

Our Windows installer is very straightforward and fully automated process.

To begin setting up an OctaSpace node on Windows, you will need to download the OctaSpace Node Manager installer.

Install and start the application

On initial load, you will be presented with the T&C's screen. To proceed, accept the terms.

Verify that your system meets the requirements

Our application will perform checks on the system to confirm your machine is compatible prior to proceeding. If certain dependencies are missing, it will ask you permission to install these. (This is fully automated)

Configure the disk size and memory allocation

In the next step you will need set how much disk space and RAM will be available for renters. Use the sliders or text boxes to set these values.

Complete installation

Once the installation is complete, you will see a token generated. Copy the token and then add the node in cube https://cube.octa.computer/

Click on the menu in the top right hand corner and select Hosting

On the hosting page, click "Add Node"

Paste the generated token in this field.

Once you have done this, you will also need to ensure that you enable the services and set your pricing.

Set withdrawal address

For the service to work, you will also need to set a withdrawal address where you will receive payments for rentals. To do so, click on the profile photo and choose profile.

Then choose settings and provide an OctaSpace wallet address since payments will be in $OCTA.

Done

Once you have completed all the steps, you can go to the desktop app which will display the below, including status, options and links to dashboard.
